The Farsi Language Program at IMAN welcomes people of all backgrounds to participate in learning Farsi.  Farsi classes accommodate anyone and everyone interested in learning the language. It offers enrichment for those who have had exposure to Farsi as well as to those who have none at all. Beginner classes are offered for adults who have had no prior exposure to Farsi and children who are at entry-level in Farsi speech; these classes will start with basic Farsi conversation and vocabulary and progress higher.  It is hoped that students who pass the fifth grade level Farsi exam will have acquired sufficient proficiency and may qualify for a waiver for a foreign language credit in college. (This is a goal at present for informational only and is something that will be finalized as progress is made and more information is available.)

Registration for Farsi Classes at IMAN is now open for Winter & Spring 2010 semester (combined). All students from 7 years of age and up are welcome to register.  You can download the registration form here.
