Welcome to IMAN

Assalamu alaykum, Peace be upon you,

Welcome to the Ithna-asheri Muslim Association of the Northwest (IMAN). In Arabic, the acronym IMAN also means "faith." IMAN is one of the several Muslim organizations in the Greater Seattle area and was established in August 1997. IMAN Center is located at 515 State St. Kirkland, WA 98033. IMAN holds the following regular programs:

  • Religious: Daily evening prayers, Sunday Fajr & Dhuhr prayers, Friday prayers, Thursday & Friday evening programs
  • Education: Sunday School, Qur'anic Arabic classes, Farsi School, Al-Mizan Qur'an Tafseer class and Philosphy study circle
  • Social: Community village nights every 1st & 3rd Saturday

In addition there are special occasions commemorated at IMAN Center including Muharram, Milad-un-Nabi, Ramadhan & Hajj. We would like welcome you to visit IMAN Center. Please feel free to contact us should you have further questions.

Condemnation on the massacre against Shia pilgrims  (Posted On February 10th, 2010 )

Whoever killed a human being, except as a punishment for murder or other wicked crimes,  should be looked upon as though he killed all mankind;  and that whoever saved a human life should be regarded as though he has saved all mankind.   (5:32)
