There were no verified sightings of the crescent moon by the naked eye at sunset on Thursday, November 24th, 2022, in any region of North America.
Friday, November 25th, 2022, was the last day of Rabi al-Akhir, 1444 A.H.
Saturday, November 26th, 2022, will be the first day of the month of Jumada al-Ula, 1444 A.H.

Daily Dhur and Maghreb and Friday congregational prayers are being held in person at the IMAN Center. Congregational Prayer Timings are published on the IMAN home page.
Weekly Dua Kumail program also takes place in person at the IMAN Center at 8:00 PM each Thursday. Wiladats and wafats are observed on the Thursday closest to the actual date and conducted online in a virtual setting. Please refer to http://iman-wa.org for schedule details of the Thursday program.
IMAN Annual General Meeting ("AGM")
IMAN Annual General Meeting scheduled for December 3rd, 2022, will now be scheduled for Saturday January 7th, 2023.
IMAN Members will receive e-mail notification for the revised AGM date.
IMAN Sunday School
IMAN Sunday School is in its 10th week and progressing well. The 1st Parent-Admin Meeting was held on November 6, 2022 from 10:45 am to 12:00 pm. There were
38 people in attendance. Parents were introduced to the school board, the curricula used in Islamic Studies, Quran and Salaat Classes. The meeting was in person at IMAN and the meeting notes will be shared with parents and teachers.
The school has set up WhatsApp groups for all classes (Islamic Studies, Quran and Salat), through which parents and teachers can communicate. This is in addition to E-mail and phone communication among Parents, Teachers and Administration.
The School held a Fall Art Contest. The Youth Club took charge of judging and presenting the certificates and prizes to the participants and winners.
The School will NOT have classes on December 25, 2022 and January 1, 2023 due to Christmas Holiday/New Year/ Winter Break.
Winter Family Night
December Family Night is scheduled for 4:30 PM December 17, 2022, starting with Salaat ul Maghrebain. Activities planned for the evening include:

Discussion led by Sr. Neelam Khaki on “Exploring parenting strategies in achieving peaceful families”
Preparing care packages for New Bethlehem shelter using donations received for that cause by December 10, 2022. Donations can be made to IMAN by check or using Zelle to accounts@iman-wa.org.
Story telling about Sayyida Fatimah al-Zahra (p) and handy crafts for children.
