Crescent Moon Safar 1442 AH
There were no verified sightings of the crescent moon by the naked eye at sunset on Thursday, September 17th, 2020. Therefore, Saturday, September 19th, 2020 is the first day of Safar, 1442 A.H. Day of Arbaeen/Chehelom will be Thursday, October 8th, 2020.
We ask God, the Most High, for success in performing good deeds and to hasten the Return of Our Master, Imam Mahdi (p) as we also pray to God, the Most Merciful, to bring a swift end to the current pandemic and grant a quick recovery to all those afflicted.

Daily and Friday congregational prayers remain suspended due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Weekly Thursday programs, and wafat commemoration will take place online.
Wafat majlises for the events above are scheduled for the Thursday closest to the event.
IMAN Center Restart
IMAN Executive Committee continues to exercise abundance of caution and will organize all events on line until further notice.
COVID-19 Pandemic status are bring monitored to help determine when it is safe for us resume congregational services at IMAN.
When IMAN Center resumes once the COVID-19 situation improves, we will be returning to a new normal per guidelines provided by King County health authorities and other medical experts. Details of this are being figured out and in the process of being finalized.
We need several volunteers to help plan and orchestrate a safe re-start and a new normal. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you are willing to volunteer and help with safe re-start.
Sunday School 2020/2021
IMAN Sunday School, like many other institutions, will resume online during COVID-19 Pandemic and continue so until the situation improves.
The school will continue following the Tarbiyah Curruculum. Classes will cover Islamic Studies, Qur'an, Salaat and Youth sessions for 13+.
Sunday School Orientation is scheduled for 10:30 AM on September 20th, 2020. This will be followed by the first set of classes at 11:00 AM.
