Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raje'oon: Ata Mansoori

With sadness and prayers for Allah’s mercy, we announce the passing of Br. Ata Mansoori, beloved son of the late Haji Amrulla and Hajjah Safa Mansoori, and brother of Br. Nuri Mansoori, who returned to his Creator on Monday, May 5, 2026, in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 87. Funeral arrangements are still being finalized, and this announcement will be updated as details become available.

Br. Ata dedicated his professional life to engineering and served as a Boeing engineer until his retirement. Having come to the United States in 1964, he was among the early generation whose hard work, perseverance, and integrity helped lay foundations for future generations.

We pray that Allah (swt) forgives his shortcomings, envelops him in His infinite mercy, and grants him a place among the righteous in Jannatul Firdaus. We also extend our heartfelt condolences to the Mansoori family and all who knew and loved him.

In honor of Marḥūm’s memory and as a means of offering spiritual benefit, we humbly request all Mu’minīn and Mu’mināt to recite Sūrah al-Fātiḥah and offer Ṣalāt al-Waḥshah or Ṣalāt-e-Hadiya-e-Mayyit for the Isāl al-Thawāb of his soul. Your prayers and remembrance serve not only as a tribute to his enduring legacy but also as a source of solace for his grieving family.
