Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raje'oon: Narges Akhavanfarid

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Dr. Narges Akhavanfarid at the tender age of 40, the beloved daughter of Dr. Gholam Reza Akhavanfarid and Sr. Maryam Masoumzadeh, the cherished sister of Sr. Shima Akhavanfarid, and the beloved niece of Sr. Maedeh Masoumzadeh. She was taken from this world in a tragic car accident last week in Iran. Marḥūma Dr. Narges Akhavanfarid was laid to rest in Isfahan, Iran, on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

The sudden departure of Marḥūma Dr. Narges Akhavanfarid has left her family with hearts heavy with grief and eyes filled with tears, yet sustained by faith and trust in Almighty Allah (SWT). We extend our heartfelt condolences to all of her family and loved ones. May Allah (SWT) envelop her in His infinite mercy, grant her eternal peace, and bless her family with patience and strength — Āmīn.

Sūrat Yā-Sīn will be recited in memory of Marḥūma Dr. Narges Akhavanfarid after Ṣalāt al-ʿIshā’ on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
