It is with great sadness we announce the demise of Syed Tanwir Haider, son of Syed Shabbar Hasan, brother-in-law of Sister Sabra Rizvi and father-in-law of Ateqah Khaki, who passed away in his sleep last night in Weston, FL.
Marhum was a founding member of Husaini Association of Manitoba in Canada where he played an integral role in the Winnipeg community for the 50+ years that he lived there. He served in various capacities , most prominently as a treasurer.
Burial is planned for 3:00 PM Monday March 23rd, 2020. Delayed because of COVID-19 crisis.
We convey heartfelt condolences to all dear ones. We pray that Marhum's soul is among the chosen ones - Aameen.

1st Rakaa': Recite Al-Fatiha, then Ayat-ul-Kursi
2nd Rakaa': Recite Al-Fatiha, then Suratul-Qadr 10 times
One can also offer Salaat-e-Hadiya-e-Mayyit, which is a 2 rakaa' salaat similar to Fajr. In the first rakaa' after Al-Fatiha, recite Suratul-Qadr and in the second rakaa' after Al-Fatiha, recite Suratul-Kawthar.
