Shawwal 1447 AH, Mar / Apr 2026 AD

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum!

Following verified naked-eye sightings of the crescent moon at sunset on Thursday, March 19, 2026, in multiple locations across the United States, Friday March 20th, 2026 was the day of Eid Al-Fitr (1st of Shawwal 1447 AH).

We ask Allah, the Most High, to grant us success in performing righteous deeds and to hasten the reappearance of our Master, Imam al-Mahdi (ʿajjalallāhu taʿālā farajahu al-sharīf).

As we conclude this blessed month, let us continue to remember one another in our duʿās—especially those enduring hardship due to natural disasters, unjust dispossession, and violent conflict around the world. We keep in our prayers our innocent brothers and sisters in the many regions afflicted by suffering.

Eid ul Fitr 1447 AH

This year’s Eid al-Fiṭr prayer marked our largest gathering to date, with the IMAN Center filled beyond capacity. Al-ḥamdu lillāh for this beautiful expression of unity and devotion.

IMAN Center Daily Congregational Salaat

Al-ḥamdu lillāh, our Qurʾān Study Circle sessions continued during the blessed month of Ramaḍān, and by the grace of Allah, we completed the study of Sūrat An-Nisā' (The Women) and Surat Al-Mā'idah (The Table Spread). Community members may revisit these reflections through the Qur'an Study Circle esources.

Allah SWT commands us:

“Establish the prayer, give the zakāt, and bow with those who bow.” (Qur’an 2:43)

This āyah reminds us that ṣalāh is not only a personal obligation but a communal calling - to stand, bow, and prostrate together in devotion.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught that prayer in congregation is twenty-seven times superior to prayer offered individually, and he so emphasized congregational prayer that he warned against neglecting it without excuse.

Our Imams (peace be upon them) taught that the mosque is the heart of the believing community, and that one who frequently attends the masjid is written among the people of light and steadfast faith.

Al-ḥamdu lillāh during Ramaḍān we witnessed a meaningful increase in daily prayer attendance. We pray that the discipline cultivated through fasting strengthens our commitment to praying together.

A habit formed in a month of mercy can become a lifelong source of barakah.

Let us answer the Qur’anic call to “bow with those who bow, filling our Center throughout the year, building hearts, strengthening families, and nurturing a community rooted in prayer.

Message of Gratitude from Gaza

A short video message of gratitude has been shared from Gaza for all those who contributed and supported relief efforts. May Allah accept your generosity and multiply its reward. We are still accepting donations to make up the shortfall of the $50K that was remitted for relief in Gaza.
